Well, THANK YOU 3 cents!! I think it is important to ease into healings. You both have been through much nd rather confused as I was. It happened all to fast for me.. Healthy one mintue and now? I am doing rather well for what ales me. (whoopes may be taken out for the miss-spells) sorry j YOU must take it easy!!! Being a care giver is harder than being a patient sometimes. Because you know why? You worry, you don't know If he is in pain or how much, so care givers (loved ones) tend to over do it.. Normal-- Then YOU have everything else to attend to.. Lets pile on the stress huh? Then comes the tears of exhaustion, an you don't know what is wrong with YOU?? Your tired in every direction.. You lived one will see this stress or may not see t right away--but together both of you will not be able to enjoy what is coming in4 months!! Just about or all better!!!!!! Getting on in life.. I agree, it is NOT easy but the end results? Success of your own!!!!!!!!!! Pace yourself and take it easy when you can, it's a long road. Marcie has been through a lot more than me, but we both understand the fear an the exhaustion that comes with illness like this. One thought that I had was to see if the people who send your visiting nurse also have physical therapists. I have a visiting nurse and they also send me a physical therapist and an occupational therapist. Ghee doctor just had to give an order for them. Just a thought but you might give it a try. Severe rheumatoid arthritis, spondoloarthropy, polymyalgia rhumatica, type 1 diabetic, IBS and finally, emergency diverticulitis surgery, colon removed Stella born Jan. 27, 2017. 6 bouts of c-diff, failed fecal transplant. Complete colonectomy and ileostomy July 30, 2018. ENOUGH!!
