can someone point me to the U.S  law that states you MUST disclose any disability information whenever anyone asks for such information?   why is "choose not to answer", dishonest?

laws do not always works as they were intended.

what different accommodations might you need compared to anyone else?

I don't believe you MUST disclose that information, and you are likely protected from doing so in most cases.

why is "choose not to answer", dishonest?

It would not be dishonest to decline to answer. However, depending on the context, it might be well worth the effort to disclose.

Depends on the context.

Some places may accommodate by allowing you to use the bathroom more often without being penalized for it.

Some may provide an office or work areas that are closer to a bathroom.

You may be eligible for additional tax benefits.

Your work schedule might be accommodated to be more flexible.

There are 101 reasons why you should disclose a disability or special need.

for the record, I did not start this thread nor did I suggest this as a thread topic.

the questions were for a specific example, not a vague general situation.

Dogtalker,  I am going to come right out and say exactly what I think, Your posts are contrary, argumentative and rude!! You don’t even have the manners to address Eric properly calling him Vegan!! I am sorry Eric to post this and sorry to any one else it may offend. Please use your energy to help and not this nonsense!!! We have members who go through a lot and they don’t need to be hearing your rants

Correct. I split the comment into its own thread so it wouldn't derail the original thread.

I don't believe there's any need to continue this thread as I trust I've addressed it adequately.
