We LOVED our Hula Hoop, Robert. We had a couple of them, I can't really remember. I do know they got a real workout with us 4 kids. We had a Slinky we'd let run down the stairs to our bedrooms. (Two boys on the right. And us 2 girls on the left.) Slinky was always running down those stairs! So cool!!!! Hey Ann . I'll bet you did get some funny looks with AmoSandra but what did they know right ! Slinky went up and down our stairs quit a few times too . Lol . John ye got me again Lad not sure what a space hopper is ? Guess I'll have to research that one . Ha . I didn't have the Raleigh Chopper but I get your drift about the gear lever in a bad spot and young men with a high pitched voice ! Ouch !! Lol . Did have sting ray bikes we used to take a wooden clothes pin and clip a playing card to the forks so the card would stick into the spokes we thought it sounded like a motorcycle . Oh how about skateboards had a few of those and took a few nose dives too ! Proctectomy , Ileostomy , Ulcerative Colitis OH FLIP! so you knew about the playing card as well!!! I thought I invented that! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_hopper ileostomy 31st August 1994 for Crohns Must be a universal thing John !!!! Or just the great mind thing ! Ahhahaha Proctectomy , Ileostomy , Ulcerative Colitis Lol John know I see what the space hopper is we called it Hippity Hopper Lol . If your wife took that over a bracelet you are one lucky man ! And you definitely have a keeper there Lad ! I probably would not have seen New Years ! Ha Proctectomy , Ileostomy , Ulcerative Colitis Telling my age again, but I had of the first skate boards.. Ginny dolls-they came out before the Barbie dolls. 2014 - 3 strangulations of colon, Ulcerative colitis, removal of colon, illiostomcy named woooh Nellie.. Marcie I guess you are telling your age Lol . I remember skate boards with steel wheels but I don't remember Ginny dolls . Maybe I'm just a kid after all or maybe it's a just a good thing I don't remember dolls ! Lol Proctectomy , Ileostomy , Ulcerative Colitis I still have many present my grand dads made me. Both were wood workers and made toys or other things every couple of years. I've got a small loom, a toy cabinet, a duck that you push along with a stick and his feet flip flap along, a doll cradle, several doll chairs and a plant stand. Makes me smile whenever I see them. So many handmade treasures. Mom made dolls and I loved to get them even though they were nothing like our friends had. Better than them uggo Cabbage Patch dolls... I enjoy making dolls when in the mood. Ought to get my patterns out and do some doll making again. My aunt always made afghans or sweaters for us. Mom had a closet filled with them. I still cover my aunt's work. Good fancy crochet. I do basic stuff, not so good at the fancy work. Crohn's Colitis, Ilieostomy, Proctocolectomy November 2017 Good thing u don't remember the dolls Robert, :-) The first skate boards had wheels like-plastic, didn't last long.. Just a small tiny- tiny stone would crack it--I kissed the side walk a lot!! Soooooooo yes, I do remember.. didn't go far either.. But, being a Tom Boy, I just kept on gong.. I remember that my girlfriend nd I went up to the water tower in the woods (all the time) but this one time, I decided to climb the curved staires to see the top-- :-) well, there was the gate 3/4 way up-so I crawled out and around it and got stuck in mid air- My friend went to get some help- Needless to say I was on the front page of the paper and the news.. and my mom was too, looking rather upset.. "Marcie, you should have been a boy with all you get into" She didn't like the baby rattle snakes I brought home either-- "aren't they cute mom?" Heck, if the skate board was out of the picture, I was into another one.. 2014 - 3 strangulations of colon, Ulcerative colitis, removal of colon, illiostomcy named woooh Nellie..
