Hi Folks, This is a post I have been asked to make on behalf of ?Stella Smj? These past few months her cancer had returned and treatment was not going to work this time. Like the Strong lady she is her determination went on.

Stella is now in her last days and as you would expect surrounded by her husband and family.

She brought a warm caring friendship here and gained and give advice and comfort.

She has expressed her gratitude for all Eric has done here and to to all us ostomates.

I would like to say Thank you Stella ? And God Bless

Thank you for sharing this, John. It certainly isn't the news we were all hoping for, but Stella's strength and determination have been inspiring.

She's always been a kind and respected member of this community, and I hope that she's been able to feel the love from us all.

Thanks John, for letting us know about this very sad update. Stella has shown remarkable courage and resolve through her cancer/ostomy journey. She has also been a great help to so many who are new to this site. Such a lovely, caring and positive person. We will miss her voice here, and I know her family will miss her terribly. We are richer for having known her.

I am so incredibly sad to hear this. Stella has been such a constant for me since joining VO. She always has such positive and encouraging things to say, and has truly made such a difference in my ostomy outlook.

My heart breaks for her family, and our VO family as well. I’m sending so much love to Stella right now.

Thank you John, for sharing this news with us.

Hi Folks, I am sorry to have to bring you all the news that Stella passed away peacefully last evening. She was at home with her family. Her husband lee asked me to let you all know. He has given me his email address if any one wants to contact as he knows stella kept in touch with many of you. I will miss her, but she is gone in a better place ❤️

Thank you, John. I am so sad to hear this. Stella was one of the very first people to welcome me to VO and offered me so much encouragement and advice, and she had such a kind spirit. I will miss her so much. ❤️

Thanks John,

It's very sad to hear this and not knowing what to say or express myself. Stella was always full of love and care to her family and others.

Pray she is in God's embracing now. May God also comfort Stella's husband and family whom will always remember Stella always wanted them to be happy with love and peace.

Thank you John so much for the update.  My appologies to this fine group of people. I have been unwell & in turn unable to be taking part here lately.

Thank you Liza for your thoughtfulness in getting in touch with me to let me know this news.

This saddens me immensely as I truly had hoped & prayed she would have found the treatment chosen to  be her kryptonite against that nasty cancer.

Stella was a very sweet & kind Lady who loved her husband and family immensely. I really enjoyed contact with her here and apart from VO.

My thoughts and prayers will be with Lee who faithfully and lovingly provided the support & strength &  encouragement that she needed to refight this battle as well as for her adult Children and Grandchildren and extended family members.

Thank you, John. That is difficult news to deliver, and clearly difficult news to receive as so many of us were touched by Stella's grace and presence.

She will be missed by our entire community.
