Hi Folks, This is a post I have been asked to make on behalf of 🌼Stella Smj🌼 These past few months her cancer had returned and treatment was not going to work this time. Like the Strong lady she is her determination went on. Stella is now in her last days and as you would expect surrounded by her husband and family. She brought a warm caring friendship here and gained and give advice and comfort. She has expressed her gratitude for all Eric has done here and to to all us ostomates. I would like to say Thank you Stella 🙏 And God Bless ileostomy 31st August 1994 for Crohns Thank you for letting usknow, John. She has been such a kind and supporting member of VO. God bless Stella and her family. Colostomy 4/30/18. Thank you for sharing this sad news. It prompted me to go back and read through many of Stella's posts and responses. She was always so kind and helpful. Sending much love and peace to her and her family. Thank you for sharing this, John. It certainly isn't the news we were all hoping for, but Stella's strength and determination have been inspiring. She's always been a kind and respected member of this community, and I hope that she's been able to feel the love from us all. Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate. Thanks for posting this John . Proctectomy , Ileostomy , Ulcerative Colitis Thanks John, for letting us know about this very sad update. Stella has shown remarkable courage and resolve through her cancer/ostomy journey. She has also been a great help to so many who are new to this site. Such a lovely, caring and positive person. We will miss her voice here, and I know her family will miss her terribly. A brave lady full of love, always remember others even during her own hard and painful time. I am so incredibly sad to hear this. Stella has been such a constant for me since joining VO. She always has such positive and encouraging things to say, and has truly made such a difference in my ostomy outlook. My heart breaks for her family, and our VO family as well. I will miss her so much. ❤️ -Liza Thanks John, It's very sad to hear this and not knowing what to say or express myself. Stella was always full of love and care to her family and others. Pray she is in God's embracing now. May God also comfort Stella's husband and family whom will always remember Stella always wanted them to be happy with love and peace. Thank you John so much for the update. My appologies to this fine group of people. I have been unwell & in turn unable to be taking part here lately. Thank you Liza for your thoughtfulness in getting in touch with me to let me know this news. This saddens me immensely as I truly had hoped & prayed she would have found the treatment chosen to be her kryptonite against that nasty cancer. Stella was a very sweet & kind Lady who loved her husband and family immensely. I really enjoyed contact with her here and apart from VO. My thoughts and prayers will be with Lee who faithfully and lovingly provided the support & strength & encouragement that she needed to refight this battle as well as for her adult Children and Grandchildren and extended family members.
