I'm aware of the Drypro ostomy cover, but haven't used one, or know someone who has.

I guess that it could be waterproof, however, I do worry about long-term durability/reliability with a product like that. Considering the cost, that would be my biggest concern.

@veganostomy yes that is true. I'd love to find something that really works but I got to thinking as it is not disposable it's going to get stinky and nasty after a while and where would I store it. I've tried the press and seal but it takes a heck of a lot of waterproof tape around the edges and you gave to get it ust right for water not to enter.

I would hope that the material used (seems like a silicone or rubber) can be cleaned thoroughly!

If you are looking to protect the edges of your wafer, you might be able to get away with "wafer extenders". But just keep in mind that you'll likely need to contend with wafer extenders peeling up and those don't tend to be easy to replace once they are stuck to your wafer. 😔 

@veganostomy the wafer extenders I'm allergic to at least the ones I've tried. I'm complicated with my adhesive allergies. But your probably right. After looking at the picture it does look like nice sturdy material. I may buy one of these as soon as financially able.
