Just spotted this on the uk coloplast site ,

https://products.coloplast.co.uk/coloplast/ostomy-care/heylo/heylo-transmitter/

seems to be an interesting idea , its a sensor that goes under the wafer and alerts you if there is a leak ,

no reviews up yet but could be a game changer

it’s nice to see they are at lease looking into new innovations for us!!  I’d love a sample but I saw the note regarding “available in my area”?!? And also if you have liquid or loose output may need some kind of script. It wasn’t clear.

In my mind, the goal for every ostomate is to find a system that doesn't leak. Or at least one that doesn't leak enough to use a device like this.

But I can see this having a wide range of applications, from pediatric to home care.

Hopefully, they will roll it out to more countries after the initial UK launch.

Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate.
