Hey everyone , just noticed a donate button on the site , and I'm delighted , Eric I don't know if me highlighting this is appropriate so delete if not , I am happy to donate to this site as I really have gotten more support and info from here than all my hospitals and their staff , Eric I will be donating as regularly as I can , and more than anything I appreciate everything this site and members have done for me . Thanks Tony (in Ireland) I appreciate that, Tony. Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate. @veganostomy That's awesome Eric! I always struggle with getting my son to help me with computer... well... anything! Lol! As young/old Dad, haha, he struggles for time between the step teens & the baby who is now a very busy trying to talk toddler of age TWO already!! While I struggle with post concussion memory issues & some vision issues on these things, we are not a great team on anything computer except when I cornered him to set me up with a direct link to here! lolol! So, will this lovely yellow bar take us right to where we need to be to donate? I hope it will make a difference for you as I know you are always updating & spending so much of your personal time helping others here. My son works at The Source so I'm aware of the expense of keeping equipment up & running & up to date for your videos & such. I am still impressed each time I watch a video you've taken time to make, trying new products & keeping us in the loop with little rest for yourself & sacrificing family time also to accomplish what you have here!! Way to go Eric and I feel I personally can never Thank YOU Enough for starting up this site & for sharing your story & keeping things running smoothly as possible here all the time. You've kept many of us on our emotional & physical feet by providing such a fantastic service!! So... Thank You Again!! I know every penny can help no matter the amount. Linda Folks Tony has hit the nail on the head. I would say this forum/is the most important and useful place for any ostomate new or old. Probably the best thing in the ostomy world since the ostomy bag!!!! And I ain’t kidding. The time work and effort is MUCH appreciated 👍🙏 Really owe ye a big slap on the back!! ileostomy 31st August 1994 for Crohns So, will this lovely yellow bar take us right to where we need to be to donate? Yes, it should bring you directly to a PayPal donation page, the "tip jar", as I call it. A friendly reminder that while I work on the site over the next few weeks, the buttons may change in appearance or location, but I'll try not to shuffle things too much.😄 Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate. @veganostomy ...lol, thank you Eric! I sure as heck wouldn't want to get set in my ways!! Keep things lively & always learning. . . right?! lol. Linda Eric, You told me why you haven’t registered as an official non-profit, but it would be cool if you did. Facebook just prompted me to set up a birthday donation where my friends can donate to a non-profit. I’ll probably do it for UOAA, but I would rather set it up for you to get the donations. 😕 Plus if you were a non-profit, I could have my United Way donations sent to you too. I guess I’ll have to keep shopping Amazon. 🤣 -Liza @squeakyandliza Non-profits do need all the donations they can get. It's a highly competitive "industry" and I prefer be independent and free of any limitations that a non-profit status creates. That said, I'm continually humbled by the support I get, however it gets to me 😊 Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate.
