Found my own solution to keep velcro closed with Colostomy bag

I only had one accident where the closure opened up. I now put a large paper clip across the velcro closure and no more accidental openings.

I'm sorry that happened to you, but I'm glad you find a way to better secure that opening.

Is it a standard paper clip or something like the photo attached?

The velcro hasn’t failed me yet, but I have been using this little paper clip/clamp. I flip the bottom of the opening up one more turn, which helps keep the pouch out of the way (every little thing helps!).  


Colostomy 4/30/18.
I love the smell of coffee in the morning. It smells like .... victory.
