Hi Jillian, Trying out new food just sample a little and see how you get on. Keep a dairy on what you have eaten and how you coped.

Have you been troubled by a blockage. Some folks same more prone than others.

hello,

I would be a little Leary of that because sometimes there are onion and other things that might get caught. I love taboolah and it’s one of my favs. I miss eating it.

Jillian, I eat tabbouleh frequently, with no issues. As John said, try a little bit of foods you’re unsure of and see if you experience any adverse effects. With a colostomy, you’re less likely to have problems than someone with an ileostomy.

With a colostomy, you should be quite safe. I would still take it slow (small quantities) and chew well.

The only time I would hesitate to recommend foods as "complex" as Tabbouleh would be if you had a history of blockages, then extra caution would be advised.

Enjoy!

Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate.
