For those who don't know, today (October 7th, 2017) is World Ostomy Day :)

I would love if you could share one thing that you were afraid you may never be able to do with an ostomy and one thing that you've done with an ostomy that has made you proud.

For me, as silly as it sounds, I didn't know if I'd be able to drive again because of where the bag is!

And I'm most proud of being able to visit South Africa after a 19-hour flight and having never been on a plane before that since I was a teen. =)

Ok Bag Master . May sound pretty dumb but I was afraid I would not be able to eat or drink a lot of things I like . And I think I'm probably (most proud ) or happy that I can actually go into public places and use the bathrooms more comfortably now because some people are so disgusting when it come to public bathrooms . ( John I think you call that a Loo Lol  I like the different terms we use ) . I ordered the stickers to put on your shirt .

Happy Ostomy Day Everybody

That's a really common concern - I had the exact same questions about diet when I learned of my upcoming surgery. Thankfully, it's more of a concern than an actual problem.

I was afraid I might not be able to return to my job, that I might need to go on disability. I know I am not limited by the bag but that my illness can limit me.

I am proud of being able to jump right in and manage my Ostomy care and maintain a good attitude about it. Thanks to Vegan Ostomy and others for making it possible.

Happy World Ostomy Day to all and Thanksgiving as well.

The one thing I thought I would never be able to do was run, while in hospital and the out put being liquid I used to think if I ran with this it would explode! Silly me.

What I was most proud of was climbing into the cab of a tracked digger again. can any one spot the country boy.

Robert loo is only the tip of the iceberg, my wifes family live 30miles up the road and I may as well be in Russia. so many accents for a wee country
