Here's a good tip to newbies... don't order things unless someone has told u it is the right item number.

this is my second time ordering what I thought was right.

First time I tried to order the thinner outlet on the sensura mio bags. Since my wider outlet had the name "maxi" I ASSUMED a "midi" bag would be the smaller outlet. I was wrong and got a wide outlet that held a shot glass of output.

Yesterday, I ordered a sensura mio convex flange to match my current bags (which I've purchased a zillion of). Apparently there are a couple ways the sensura mio adheres to the wafer. The one I ordered has a sticky mating surface. The one I wanted has a click.

Anyhow, I called up coloplast and they are going to send me the correct samples of what I need.

Its all my own stupidity, and frustrating.

Ah, yes! I've also ordered the wrong products in the past - it happens! Glad you're getting it sorted out!

Understand that. This order I got size correct, got the filter I wanted. Wound up forgetting to look for the clear version. Got the fabric on both side ones. That's alright, the filter was my big goal this time.

Here's one to remember. I went on vacation and thought I had enough of everything I needed for at least a week. After the first night, several hours away from home, I woke up and realized that I forgot to put a box of wafers in my suitcase. Fortunately I was driving and I had my emergency kit in my truck. I also always keep a small emergency pack in my computer bag. I had two wafers in the computer bag that were probably 7 months old. So far those have worked fine and no problems. The wafers in my emergency kit are so old, maybe 3 years, and I will find out on the final leg of my journey how those work out. I think I may only need one but I just might make it home with what I have on. The old wafer from my computer case stood up to swimming in the gulf for a couple days already. Lesson learned, check and double check supplies before leaving and update your emergency kits often.

Willy, that's a great example of why you should keep multiple sets of supplies handy!
