Good one John!!!!!!! Know that your not up to par yet, but movement is best--But there has been times that I have thought that they forgot something in there or added it, just to let me know what it WAS like to have to give myself to let go of a good "vapor" -- Ladies make "vapors"--Men "fart" So, I vacuumed a bit, and the gas moved someplace...but that feeling left until another bout.. I was walking like a duck--Dr. did it is normal and that I would get these "feelings" off an on.. For ever!!!!! (no colon here)

But really- if your being bothered more, see the Doc. Kinda long time for the lost "vapor" And peace of mind.. Maybe your just over whelmed now, as Christmas is here and cant decide what to get me for Christmas???? :-)

Folks this bloating seems to have settled down, still heading for the doc as I want to see how my appointment with the Dietitian  is going. Have eatin pasta since and no bother HAPPY DAYS. I have been with an ostomy now for quite a few years. 49 years old and have Sammy for 23 years so have been with one for nearly as long as without. 23 GOOD YEARS the wee fella and me have been on some adventures and then some but one thing i am guilty off is never seeing a doctor, nurse or any one else! I am in not bad health over all but am going to make more of an effort to get checked out. i have been blessed but we own it too ourselves and the life saving ops and med staff that give us back our lifes. Plus VO has made me more aware of looking after myself.

Yes, Seeing the Dr. and having the information that we get on this blog is so important!!  Makes us look like more professional in this department then they are.  Great Feeling!! Cant wait until I tell them about these filters of Eirc's info.  Along with others !!!!!!!!!!! I am the teacher not them-but they are the teachers if I have a bad rash etc. and the early days.. but really nothing to do about that-time and proper changing along with the knowing of when Nellie Is resting and let air to her funny face.

The bloating? well as we all do, we tend to feel ourselves.. to me it id time to empty witch is always the case.. And if not much to exit, there is a lot of air/gas witch = possible blow out- so to me what ever the cause ? I just feel better to check out the bathrooms, as I also suggest you keep a log on those too !!   I do believe I spelled witch wrong in this format :-(   BOO !!!!!  ?

John glad to hear bloating is getting so much better and that you are still going to the doc to get checked out . You said you are 49 so it is getting time to get things checked out according to age thing . I am 59 and didn't start going till things started happening maybe waited longer than I should have . You are encouraging to me (only having Norman for 15 months) and probably others too with talking about having Sammy for 23 years 23 good years at that . Sorry you are not able to have the pasta like you would like to . Maybe a little at a time . Specially since your wife might be half Italian  LOL just kidding . Have a great day Lad !

Hey, John68,

What's up with you avoiding your healthcare professionals.  Whatever you feel about doctors,  understand that you are wrong to ignore the advanced knowledge of today's medical staff.

I hope that you change your mind and get an appointment with a doctor that can work with you and your issues.

Guys,  weigh in on this issue. He needs support and encouragement.

Which (got it spelled right) By the way John, Maybe your intestines needed a little break from the regular eating's.. This is what I did when I first noticed something was not going well for me, As we age our bodies do also-- I knew something was off..  I did make an Dr. appointimet, she was on vacation but ended up in the ER in 2 weeks.. and the rest is history-So happy that your going to get things check out--I am sure that your fine, but peace of mind is more important that the stress it brings on our bodies.. They feel "Stress" is what brought on my OC.. just sorta arrived  itself ever so softly then the big bang!!

Maybe to much cheese with the pasta?  Cheese can bulk down for awhile and let loose big time.. Been there.. recently......... Oh the holidays...... :-) / :-(  --I know that when I did a boo-boo, when I get more liquid than what I ate, the liquid is going around the "chunk" and the passing's can take a bit of time.. That is when I have to walk it out.. movement is best.. Unless ????? But it is a try-and I can tell the Dr. I just didn't just sit on it... :-) Good luck--hope to hear good results John..

Robert, how r u doing with the typing?  Got it to 3 fingers yet???

John, my dear one, I don't think they are in contact with each other.. Men just don't like the Dr. issue much-- As your a gentleman, you say "Tomorrow"  Some wives get the "shut up" or "I will never say another word about it all u do is harp on it"  We are just worried is all..

Besides, look at what you and your dear wife have already have gone through?  Kinda scary..  I think there is a bit more worrying going on in your house that the normal......

Heck, I am going on Wednesday, (don't want to)Just some pain around my right side, and last year I had Gull stones in and around my pancreas.......  One never knows??  But we are not Doctors, but at least with what you and yours and the rest of us have been through--We don't want anymore MAJOR problems.. Hate complainers, that never solves anything.. .Peace of mind my dear....

As we say over here, is "nip it in the bud"  What do you say over there?

Might have an interesting week  next week between the two of us huh?  Hopefully Good!!!!!!!!!

God bless us all.

Please don't be coy and share the results of your exams.

I also merited a liver transplant back in 2005.  When I,  on my 10th anniversary,  called the surgeon and profusely thanked him, he was 'touched '. I am grateful for each day of life,  no matter the quality. That I can get out and do kindnesses,  is pure gravy.
