Has humor helped you to cope with IBD or another illness? My written article in this topic can be found by clicking on the link below.

Eric, this was awesome. THANK YOU for writing it. Sounds like you and I are on the same wavelength when it comes to IBD/Ostomy awareness. Laughter is, indeed, the best medicine. :) Excellent post. Really brilliant.

Wow Eric. Thank you for your insight-- there's so little I know and understand about Crohns and this has been very helpful.

during the night I woke to find the bag inflated just to the point probably before bursting. as a shuffled out of bed in a very not trying to bend way my wife woke and put on the lamp. I just had to start singing "come fly with me come fly away let fly away" I could hear her laughing as a did the crap walk to the bathroom

Eric, I felt like I was reading some on my own story here, with out the extent of severity, but certainly same things. So well said! I loved and understood ever single pun and did not mind the swearing at all. The first time I read your story, I actually cried. I knew that someone out there named Eric understood my pain in so many ways! Thank you for being so raw (get that pun?). You experienced a lot over those years, where mine was long drawn out misery. We do live with the knowledge of knowing we could be hit hard any time we simply turn around. God bless you for what you have done on your site. Thank you Eric.

Linda

@lydneil

Glad it helped! It's so easy to get caught up in our illness that we forget to laugh.
