Hi All, I found myself with a real craving for the snack the other night, I did the usual round of the kitchen opening cupboards and staring blankly at tins and packets, A lonely bags of potatoes said what about me. (it didn't really! not hearing voices just yet) so I had an idea home made crisps, I went to see my friend google and all I needed was potatoes (no way) and olive oil. I preheated the oven covered a baking tray with parchment paper, sliced the spuds as fine as I could and tossed in the oil. into the oven and after 15/20mins turned them and dusted with salt and black pepper back in for 15/20 mins again and low and behold crisps!! I would encourage any one hit by a snack attack to give it ago. Any one else who thinks I need to get out more please say! ileostomy 31st August 1994 for Crohns That's fantastic! I bought this special tray for making crisps in the microwave, but it doesn't really crisp them like an oven does. I'll have to give these a go! Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate.
