Its not that hard nowadays Laurie , it used to be all command line based and the command line is still important but its fun to learn  and being honest it keeps your mind active ,

If you have an old laptop ,it's the perfect place to learn because if you mess up you can just reinstall from scratch , obviously on a test laptop(or desktop) you don't keep anything important .

I’m envious of how knowledgeable you both are about using Linux - which I know nothing about.

Linux today is so different from Linux 20 years ago, where you'd need to use the command prompt quite often (like back in the DOS days for those who remember that far!). But modern Linux is very much a graphical experience on the desktop, and in my opinion, much easier than Windows!

Nice and sunny today, but cold! We went to the beach to get rocks for my garden, and there is still ice and snow along the shoreline. I think it was about 1C.
