Hi Folks, when I opened my phone this morning I seen the google logo was highlighting an event. So I tapped and it international woman’s day. Ok some may say what’s this got to do with ostomy issues. Ok look at it this way! The majority of members here I would say are women, the majority of advocates are woman. Most of the strongest most resilient folks I know are women. Ie my wife has been through a huge number of issues including transplant surgery and major sight lose. And the way she handles it puts any problems I have to shame. A close female friend of mine has coped with surgery followed by problems from that and other family issues and again the way she has dealt with it amazing. I could list and list examples but ladies you already know and if you don’t you should.
