For sure! Especially when you go overboard on samples – I say that as I look at a shelving unit full of supplies that I have to test and review! LOL

I just came home days ago and have no idea what I am doing. It feels like I am going every hour or less causing the use of multiple dags and products. I was happy to see your article and hope to read more.

Eric,

Unfortunately I was one of those who was inundated with products. It got to a point emotionally where I thought that I can’t do this. I’m 6 months post op and am just now able to “relax” somewhat about my ileostomy.

Your article was very helpful even at this point of my journey.

Thanks again for your invaluable insight.

Thanks for sharing that, Kim.

Sometimes, I wonder if the hospital/manufacturers/nurses are doing patients any favors by overloading them with samples they probably won't even need. It certainly seems that way when I speak with new ostomates.
