Hi has any one got any recommendations on high waisted underwear for men ,

I have had a few close calls recently with with current underwear cutting off the pouch from draining at night  , I have tried comfizz (over €40) for one pair and another UK provider but they are looking for over €35 just for postage ,

any suggestion appreciated

Tony, did you try Vanilla Blush? They’re in Glasgow - if the shipping is too costly, you could just swim over to pick it up. 😄 Seriously, they’ve got a great selection of clothing for ostomates. I really like the hernia belt I bought from them.

Hi ! ... Tony,  try googling "Mr. Big & Tall" stores, underwear sections.  they have a whole list of stores that may help.

I realize men are built differently so if you have a pair of pants you really like to wear that give you the higher coverage you like, measure from the center crotch of them  to the height you like above your pouch.  With that measurement, shop looking for  under clothes using that figure for the rise you require.  Take advantage of discounts even if it means "unsubscribing" later. I always read reviews as well.  There are home sewers out there that can make underwear with a stretchy fabric & wider elastics for comfort. Check with fabric stores, they often have a Seamstress who can help.  Also, check for a seamstress through someone who does "Alterations". Often they can sew this kind  of thing or they may know someone who does.  If your not sure of the measurments, check with a person who does alterations, or check on you tube as well.  Mr. "Big & Tall" type stores cater to tall men needing a different fit over regular stores.  My young friend, fit as ever shops Mr. B & T stores.  He's 19 years &  is 6'7" & growing!  He requires specialty stores to fit his tall lean body.  Best wishes in this matter.

Linda

Postage that expensive would be a dealbreaker for me.

Search this page for "underwear" and have a look at other options close by:

Even if they aren't in Europe, try a few international dealers as the postage for something that light/packable might be cheaper still.

i feel your pain on this one.     at night i wear uniqlo boxer briefs - theyre not too pricey and the waistband sits just above the top of my flange.   during the day i rarely wear underwear ( its HOT here and sweating isnt helpful ) and use a belt with the big plastic ring to keep the flange in place.  can find these belts dirt cheap on amazon or lazada.

I've tried to use that style of underwear, and it's something you can even find as cycling shorts. But I always feel like the compression is too much and stops the flow of my output from dropping to the bottom of the bag.

Do you size up to give yourself more room?
