Hi Eric... thank you for trying to find a resolve for my issue. I decided to post here In case someone else knows another way to help me, rather my phone thru this issue.  My friend thinks we've figured part of the issue out, but I'm wondering if anyone of our techy ostimates who knows phones would be able to help further. 

The issue started when I got a new phone. VO was not with the rest of my apps. loaded onto my new phone. When my son hooked me up with VO again my screen was full of tiny tiny tiny microscopic words. This made for a lot of zooming in & moving screen for me & my temperamental eyes, causing me to become very nauseated getting around on my phones screen.  Last night my friend figured out that possibly my phone loaded the "big screen" version of VO, not the smaller version I am used to. She managed to fix the issue to some extent by removing the VO app & the reloading it again... 

This interesting thing is, my old phone still has the regular version & my new phone has the more difficult version! My Grand D was with us trying to figure things out & she rather firmly said, "Silly phones!" Lol!  How right a 4 1/2 yr. young can be!! Lol! 

 Anyways, if anyone knows anything I can try to fix this further, I'd sure appreciate the input.

I still feel like covid has forced my hand into the electronics world much further then I ever wanted to be & will consider my sons suggesting of a tablet...? to get the big screen affect with much less zooming around if I can't figure this out... ugh!

@dlkfiretruck Do you know what web browser you are using on your phone?

Google chrome, Samsung Browser, etc.? I can test specific browsers, assuming it's an Android phone.

If it's an iphone, I don't have access to one for testing.

Thanks for the heads-up. I've applied a small update to the forum and a few other areas of the site. If you continue to have problems, please let me know.

I would be able to test with Chrome on a Samsung phone, so hopefully it's all working for you now :)

@veganostomy  ... Thank you again Eric!!  Will I need to sign off VO & sign on again, as in loose the app then reset it again like I needed to when it didn't show up with my new phone. Actually, I thought that was kind of strange, lol! 

As of this a.m. everything is as it was when I reported the issue. I am however learning to work with it though.

@dlkfiretruck Hi Linda, I installed Chrome on my Samsung phone and tried the site. Everything seems to look OK on my end, even when not logged in.

The only thing I can think of, if the problem persists, is that the text size setting is set too small in the Chrome accessibility settings. But this would affect all other websites, too.

Is this site the only one you're having issues with?

@veganostomy  ... yes, this is the only site with teensy tiny print issue. All others are as regular as can be.I'Il go check that chrome accessibility settings to see if something needs changing. Thanks so much Eric!

Above, top right, are three dots.  I clicked the 3 dots  a window opened & I scrolled to see "desk top"  I clicked on it and everything went back to normal!

Happy Sunday Morning Everyone!

I spent the night with a 4 year old wrapped around me & on me. They were away for a week & arriving home, she velcroed herself to ME... and... well, what a night!  I tried sneaking out from under a very deep sleeping wet noodle of a small child still clinging to me bcuz she missed me SO much,  just to deal with my pouch 4 times in the night!! Let me tell you, It's a whole other experience! Lol! 

In my sleep deprived brain & achey body morning,  I just came back to make sure fixing this issue really happened, or was it only a tangle of a possibility or not like the blankets & little hands on my face kind of night and WAY too early of a  morning for me!

So I'm glad to report this issue did really get fixed! It was not a sleep deprived dream! Lol! I'm not sure how many different routes & hours I spent trying to help fix this new phone thing since I have it,  but I'm very glad I can read everything as clear as can be now. 

Eric, this is only one issue for me and it took a lot of time and headaches for me to find the fix.  I can't even imagine the amount of hours you spend fixing issues & the time you spent putting this site together!!  I have a whole new appreciation for YOU and what you have created here !

I'm glad that it's working better for you now, but you shouldn't need to have to switch to desktop mode. I'll continue to investigate on my end. But if it works for you as-is, that's positive!
