Hi everyone my name is Nessa, I live in Queensland, Australia 

I was diagnosed with UC 5 years ago now but I am pretty sure that I had it for much longer as I had been losing blood and being on the toilet for what felt liked half the day and nights. Oh, i can't forget the pain as well something I would never want to go through again or wish it on anyone.

I has been a pretty crazy change (in a great way) to been stuck at home to now been able to go anywhere and that means alot for my family.

I tried all the medical treatments that were out there but nothing helped and when my body started to shut down on me all my medical team and I decided to get my Merffi (stoma)
