So nothing with Squeaky can ever be normal or easy for me. I have a loop ileostomy with the second hole at skin level on the side. I do occasionally get poo out of that hole. It is never very much, maybe an amount the size of a lemon seed and it sort of oozes out. The opening is very small. So, I was doing a change after a leak. Fortunately all I had eaten so far was a granola bar, so there was minimal activity. Sometimes Squeaky does “raspberries” when there is some gas built up in my intestines. It is funny. Well all of the sudden there was a loud raspberry sound and looked at Squeaky and realized it was coming from the little hole!! So I thought that was weird because I’ve never had that happen before. And normally if anything comes out of the little hole, it just sits there because it is such a small amount. Well, the next think I know, there is a forceful poo stream coming out of the little hole. Like a squirt gun or something. I tell you, it shocked the heck out of me!! I guess it was a perfect storm of liquid output and some weird pressure buildup. I mean I’ve had projectile output from the main opening, but this was all new!! 😳 -Liza Liza...lolololololol....you do have your plateful don't you!?!! I'm so glad you seem to be able see past the annoyances & into the humour of your situations always handling one issue at a time. This is survival of the fittest! I've said it before & I'll say it again...YOU ARE a tough cookie! I think your sense of balance, patience & humour and Toms un-dieing support will get you through anything that may happen on your much needed holiday! I found being able to laugh at the noises and situations plopped on you at the time it happens or shortly there after is so important to stay afloat and you... LIZA have that ability too! Stay strong!!! Linda I've said it before & I'll say it again...YOU ARE a tough cookie! Thanks Linda! If you keep telling me that, I might start to believe it. Because right now, I feel further from being a tough cookie than ever. -Liza
