Hi All, When I was with my stoma nurse yesterday she noticed I was using a Convatec wafer and pouch. She said the company reps have given them a list on which a number of their products are going of market. I was relieved to hear that the one I wear was not on it. Reason given is that its products that they see as not being profitable any more. So any one out their if this is yer brand have a check so as not to be caught out. It may be MONEY to these BIG companies!!! but its every day life to us folk. ileostomy 31st August 1994 for Crohns I'm almost certain I've heard people say that appliances they've used reliably for years are no longer available. I don't know any specifics, but thanks for the PSA. Nobody wants to be caught without a replacement available Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate.
