Hey Jessica, since the time you posted this I've been able to try the "Nutiva Coconut Oil with non-dairy butter flavor" (amazon link: https://amzn.to/2I1wkCB) which is a vegan product. My goodness is it ever great! We've been using it on everything! LOL

Thank you so much for sharing this! I’m vegan (12+) years and finally going in for a colonoscopy to diagnose Crohn’s after avoiding it and dealing with the disease for way too long. I made the mistake of reading reviews for my GI doctor (which mentioned he’s not stellar with being gentle during procedures or with being sensitive about not making patients watch the GI camera feed). At least this info is helping me feel a bit better. And thanks for the note in the specific laxative - I’m lactose intolerant and I’ll be sure to look out for that in whatever brand I find. Now if I could just deal with the anxiety about someone poking around in that sensitive area I might get through this okay... :)

Best of luck with everything, Nicole. I've also checked out doctor reviews of doctors I've seen or have seen my family members, and while there is often some truth to those reviews/experiences, sometimes they are vastly different (worse) than my own experience. It's hard to review a person, so I hope that your experience is better :)

I agree with Eric here.

Often the recollection of a patients are quite confused probably due to "FEAR" and panic.

Most people don't recall that well at all.

I have read many accounts of people having their eyeball knocked out in and accident and having them put back in whole. Its the equivalent of trying to pot a bowling ball in to a pool table pocket! An urban myth! probable cause shock.

Best to tell the the GI doctor to be gentle as your might jump up and pop him one if he's rough, I bet you he'll be fine :-)

If your anxiety is very high have you though of an hypnotherapy session works for some?

I'll send you good thought's for the day sure others here will also.
