I love Jonny Cash- most country-but not the twang twang- I always have the oldies of the 50-60,70 on- get some pep going and singing of course, on my way to infusion. Oh Jean Pitney-he grew up in the next town from me.. -great family - love his music.. Glen Campbell- beatles as I became a teenager with them.. HATE the stone's !!!!!!! And a bit of soft music.......

Sounds terrible and nearly feel guilty saying it but the Stones have never done it for me either.

Oh my, we have a trend growing.  I also never particularly cared for them either.

Severe rheumatoid arthritis, spondoloarthropy, polymyalgia rhumatica, type 1 diabetic, IBS and finally, emergency diverticulitis surgery, colon removed Stella born Jan. 27, 2017. 6 bouts of c-diff, failed fecal transplant. Complete colonectomy and ileostomy July 30, 2018. ENOUGH!!

apart from the very early Stones which was mostly covers I think the Stones are very over rated , to be one of the really great bands/acts you have to have to produce albums (at least 3) that people with listen to from start to finish and will go WOW , eg. the Beatles , Neil Young , Van Morrison .

Twangy type Bluegrass is better in a jam session/ live setting with very experienced musicians. Small venue as in maybe 70 people there. It becomes more improvised and flows according to the audience. I hate, hate, hate recorded twangy bluegrass. Grates on the nerves.

My parents had this little cabin on a lake in Mass. The stones rented a place a few miles upper in some field.. This was when they broke up and was trying to get back to geather again..I always saw Mick zagger(sp) in this tiny grocery store-- He smelled so bad, and always had a cig, hanging out of his mouth.. HIs zipper half open on his jeans. Just plain dirty!!!! Heavy booze smell etc.. And his teeth? I don't think he ever brushed them.   No one wanted to wait on him, and no one wanted to be next to him.. This was a mom and  pop type of store..  Lots of trouble up in that field house of theirs..

You think that they were gross on stage? try seeing them in person!!!!!! When he/they came in-I left until they left- and the smell lingered on for many hours.. And the attitude? Is the same.............. But they got together again and made fools of themselves as always. NOT A FAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!

About 40 miles from me is a place called the Ulster American Folk Park, it is an open air museum which tells the story of people who emigrated from Ireland to the States. every year it holds a Blue Grass Festival, you want to see the crowds, tickets go like hot cakes!! Any of you folk visiting over here it would be a must.
