Has anyone tried these?

I love the velvety feel of this pouch, however when i wear one i notice moisture under the peep flap.   There is a carbon filter there and the moisture when wiped is grey/black in colour.
This leaks through onto my clothes.

I'm not sure if this is due to inadequate filters which causes a slight content leak or is there some sort of condensation being caused?  (Body warmth plus content causing moisture)?

Either way for whatever reason - the carbon filter should not produce  moisture on the outside.

I've tried to cover the filter with the stickers,  but the moisture leaking still occurs.

This is also NOT down to a faulty batch as it has happened with multiple batches and it also in 1 piece and the 2 piece pouches.

I have contacted Pelican Health Care, who have forwarded a letter to the manufacturers.

They will always say they have never heard of this issue before, but i cannot be the only one.

Anyone?

Those aren't available where I live, but it does sound like moisture is getting through the filter, which really shouldn't happen with any filter, but it does with many.

Looking at photos, the filter seems unusually small, so it's possible that perhaps there's no "pre-filter" to keep moisture out (as you'll see on Hollister bags).

I'd let Pelican know. Since this seems like a newer product for them, it's possible that the kinks need to be ironed out.

Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate.
