Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate. I would like to talk to a stoma nurse i take care of my husband stoma we are having problems with it breaking on the bottom not going into the bag i use tape and skin wipes and a barrior im at my nersesend need help using hollister dont like the new bag!! Hi Jean, I'm sorry to hear about your struggles. Yes, it would be a very wise idea to speak with a stoma nurse, who can not only assess his skin and appliance, but may point out areas in your husband's stoma care that could be tweaked for better results. There is no single answer, unfortunately. Sometimes, at least in my experience, using too many products or products not designed for the problem you are trying to solve, may end up making matters worse. I wish you both all the best. Let us know if you have any questions about the products you have on hand. Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate.
