Every time misinformation about IBD hits the media, you can be sure that the entire IBD community is up in arms – and rightly so! This happened today after BBC reported that junk food may be the cause of Crohn’s. What?? Junk food is the cause of Crohn’s disease??

Boy, what a day! Sunday, June 8, 2014 marked the 19th annual Gutsy Walk for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada.

This year, I have a chance to fight back against Crohn’s and to show that I still have plenty of fight left in me. Along with my daughter, Jasmine, I’ll be participating in this year’s Gutsy Walk, presented by Crohn’s and Colitis Canada on June 8th, 2014.
My Ostomy travel kit – Feb, 2014
Inspired by another fellow blogger, I’ve decided to finally get a proper EDC (every day carry) bag for my ostomy supplies. This new bag is replacing a MUCH LARGER tactical shoulder bag, which I may still use for hikes or whenever more supplies are needed.
