Hey folks,

Over the last year or two, as traffic to the website has grown and more strain has been put on my web host, I've noticed that page speeds and general site navigation has felt sluggish.

I've done what I can to smoothen things out from a software and optimization standpoint, but I've reached a hardware limit so upgrades will need to be done.

I'm in the process of looking for a new web host, with the goal of making this website blazing fast again!

Nothing really needs to be done on your end, but while I do some research and eventually move forward with it, I may be silent for a while while I try to balance my time.

Before the transition, I'll let everyone know. It's possible that certain features will be broken during the switch (i.e. email notification may not go through since that's part of a separate system that may need to be re-configured), but I'm hoping that will be kept to a minimum.

Thanks for your ongoing support and patience :)

Forum member @dogtalkerer had brought up a good point about having some way to identify what kind of stoma each forum member has in order to help answer posts since each type of stoma may require a different answer or have a nuance that requires special attention.

Currently, I am able to add this option as a field in the member profile and it would be up to each member to fill it (or not). This information would only be viewable if you are looking at a specific member profile, so I do advise that you list what type of stoma you have in the "signature" section of your profile if that's something you want to share.

What do you guys think? Should I add a stone type field to user profiles? Any other suggestions?

I found out that there was a timeframe limit for this plugin that an admin can set for editing posts. If there's a way to make this limit forever, that would be great, but it would also help if we could have that time limit for editing posts greatly increased. Thanks for reading.
