I'm happy to announce that I've been asked to be on the steering committee for an upcoming IBD patient and caregiver event happening February 2019.

While details still need to be hammered put, I'm excited by what this event will offer those living with IBD.

I'll write a more formal announcement when things are finalized, but it's something to keep an eye out on ?

The photo shows some of the patient leaders involved, although the conference involves a larger collaboration of influences and partners.

? In the world of IBD (and even ostomy advocacy), the women far outnumber the men.

This is something I hope to talk more about because the ratio of patients is about 50/50.
