The most important thing for her is to get onto doctor recommended treatments early on - this could spare her from future surgeries and unnecessary suffering.

If she'd like to connect with someone, there are many IBD advocates who can offer her both support and direction!

My Wife has a friend who has been having tummy and bowel problems for a while, tests this week has confirmed it as crohns. The girl is early 30s with a young family into fitness and would be a careful to eat healthy. Makes you wonder why this is becoming so common!! As so many of us do she has already started to take every supplement, potion and remedy we all know the type of thing to help. she knows I am an ostomate and will always be here to offer any help I can but I am aware that at this early stage the last thing she wants is some one else weighing in with advice. Any advice how to be a supportive friend without over doing it?
